Testimonials

I’d like to begin by saying that it’s never easy to tackle any family law case. Aside from legal complications there is a lot of emotional baggage involved. When a close friend of mine learned about what was going on she immediately recommended that I go to the law offices of Frudden & Padilla Family Law based on her past experience.

Sure enough I scheduled an appointment with Katie for a consultation. The appointment was scheduled promptly and she was very flexible and accommodating to my busy schedule and sense of urgency. On the initial consultation Katie discussed the case with me in detail and reviewed the order that I have filed and started formulating a strategy for my case that will ensure my safety and guarantee that my full story and important bits that I missed out on my initial filing will be presented and heard during the case hearing.

As I mentioned above, it’s never easy to go into personal details with a stranger. Especially when those details are mostly memories of abuse. The experience is very emotionally taxing to say the least. Katie was able to deduce the information necessary for the case without leaving me emotionally drained or feeling that I’m alone in my predicament. When the initial consultation was over, there was no doubt in my mind that having Katie to help me with this case will be in my best interest. Throughout the restraining order case, Katie kept me in the loop at all times about what was happening and what I could expect. She skillfully handled every aspect from day one.

Before the hearing, Katie made sure that I was well prepared and walked me through every scenario. Being prepared and feeling confident because you have someone who knows what they’re doing by your side will make all the difference in the world.

On the day of the hearing, Katie made sure to be early before the hearing to be by my side and tend to any questions or concerns I had. That was very reassuring and genuine. Again, feeling that you have someone by your side that cares about your best interest is always important. At no stage during the case did I get the feeling that this was a business transaction. She really cared and that is not something you can easily find these days.

All the hard work she put forward paid off. The hearing lasted about 20 minutes during which she presented my case and performed a cross examination of me and my spouse. When she was done you could already know from the look on the judge’s face that I will be granted that restraining order without a shadow of a doubt.

Thanks to Katie and her hard work professionalism and great work ethic, I’m safe now!
